It is said that Salem is barely alive during the exploration of the Gallery, and the coffin containing her body is actually present and moving during the location's search, not to be moved out of concern for her now fragile form. In a twist of fate, the protagonist isn't saving a captured Jack this Halloween, but someone just as significant to him. Her husband, Jack reaches out in a letter for help as the city would be defenseless to all manner of monsters or adept Halloween guests, were the Queen of the Night unable to enforce her duties.

Mysteriously, while going through their own collection of trinkets and props, Salem was captured and mummified beyond recognition by a curse. The location itself is a timeless collection of Egyptian-themed artifacts, which Salem was hoping to use for the Halloween party of that year. The area of the map it appeared in acts as an expansion to all of the Halloween locations it is an extension to the waterway, adds a new tower, and even some much needed space in the courtyard area. The Pharaoh's Gallery introduces an entirely new wing to Jack's Castle.
